Watercooling time!

Since Nvidia said the cards are only limited by heat (unlimited POWERDRAW~!).

I wonder if EVGA is going to sell their blocks separately or just as a package with their special hydro whatever card.

I've been told that's not correct.

Haha. Well I bought them on a "theory" that part of my issues were due to high resolution and high AA and low bus on gtx 680's. And also I wanted to switch to Tri-SLI to get away from the problems of Quad-SLI. And also I found out my old cards will probably sell for about $600/piece. So...should end up costing me only around $800 for the upgrade.

I believe EK have Titan water blocks available, if not very soon.

Yeah I looked them up. I like the EVGA ones better. At least as long as they are the same one they ship their Hydro series with. And they should be out in a few weeks too. And I really they are...because the Titan has TERRIBLE cooling. Like...just ridiculous....at 105% of power target, +50 to GPU offset, and +475 to memory offset, I was at 87c after 10-15 minutes of gaming. My 680's never crossed 75. :( Believe it or not the cards are also tinier than the GTX 680. And their performance (before they overheat) is phenomenal.

Are they stacked together on the PCI-E slots, if so I would think that may negate the effect of the vapor chambers?

Kind of don't have any options around that. Well....technically I could give up my USB plugs and Power/Reset buttons to put a video card there. But that was one of the reasons I wanted to get rid of quad sli 680's. =D Why would they add a fancy new cooling tech that doesn't work as well as the old tech, btw? The fans on the titan are probably half as loud/effective as my 680's.

Also, windows has disappointed me. Do you find their criteria for the ratings are a little high?

lmao .. that is rediculous, with one GTX680 on W7, I'm maxed out on my graphics rating ..........

Can you do me a huge favour, open up 2 catleap 2B's.. Set up a tri SLI Surround with the TITANS and let me know what kinda benchmarks you get?

I am looking to dump the 2 690s for 3 titans For this kinda gaming setup with resolutions of 7680x1440 but there are NO Specs out there at all??

Thanks

Awesome! Benchmarks.

Yeh don't tAke notice of the windows
Scor hyper lol, it means nothing really, even a 7850 gets the highest score, it probably just doesn't recognise your cards.

I read that Nvidia has opened up for third party manufacturers to make custom GK110 cards, does this mean the hard power TDP 265W limit can be removed?

You should hunt down or talk to Vega, aka CallsignVega. Im sure he has some benchies for you regarding Nvidia surround/multiple monitors.

He has an acct here, as well as on the OTHER WEBSITE THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED! (or can we name that one here? rofl....the place that everyone migrated from to get here :P) as well as Xtremesystems and Im sure many other places.

Hyper, that's a known bug with WEI and SLI. Your graphics scores go down once you enable SLI.

I don't have a 2B warehouse unfortunately. Though it may be possible to replicate this with some VGA dummy plugs. I'll take a look and see.

I don't think so. They stopped evga from making evbot port gtx 680's. they still want their hard limits in place. But honestly these cards are terrible for cooling....I'm so glad I decided to get a water cooling loop. I'll be adding these cards into it when evga blocks are ready. These things overheat like crazy!
