So has anyone run these to see if they will run 120hz or if they are limited to 100hz same as SLI?

Pretty sure you would be limited, as its just SLI on a card.

I have no experience with the 690 though, just from previous Dual GPU Nvidia cards.

Thats what I would assume too but just wondering on the off chance that its not limited the same way.

I got a GTX 690. I can run the screen 100 hz. The issue with SLI is the BRIDGE limited @ 400 mhz pixel clock.

But trust me, BF3 at 2560 X 1440 100 hz is fucking awsome!

How many FPS do you get in BF3, and at wich settings (High/Ultra/Custom)? Curious because I have ordered a 690, haven't received it yet. :)

Shouldn't be too different than the 70-140fps range I get in my 680's.

All maxed out but with 2x msaa and fxaa on. And disabled the motion blur effect as it's intended for people who have lower framerates. Also my cards are running at 1280mhz.

Awesome! :)

BF3 is the only game I play. I actually introduced it to my wife, and we never watch TV in the evenings anymore. No meaningless, dumb shitty productions, just BF3 and quality shows, downloaded of course, to watch when we want to.

Quite a fun story how I got her intoBF3. I bought the game for myself when it came out, played it with my buddies, shouting and cursing, you all now the the way it's played. :)
She was not too pleased with that, so I asked her if she wanted to try. I bought another game, made some h/w upgades on her machine (my old GTX480 and a new PSU) and we were all set. First she played the campaign, just to get a feel for the controls, then we played co-op for a while, then I rented a server of our own so we could practice the maps, then she was ready for the real Battlefield. Been playing since December and she's f-ing good too: :) AKS81 is her profile name. This is her first FPS ever, I'm actually quite proud of my gamer-wife. :)
