So ,I have been using a BenQ 2420TX for the last 2+ years connected by a DVI-D cable, and after upgrading to a GTX980 ,I decided to give 1440P gaming a try. Now ,I noticed when I hooked up the 980 to my BenQ ,It was only able to refresh at 60Hz with an HDMI cable ,so I went back to the DVI-D cable I was using ,and it was able to hit 120 again. Now that I am going to hook up a Yamakasi Catleap 2B ,I'm just not sure that mine is a quality DVI cable, as I heard I may need a 24 gauge cable to achieve 120 Hz at 1440P .Any cable recommendations?

Try the cable that comes with the Catleap, chances are it will be ok, if not many have had success (including myself)
with the Monoprice 24AWG cables.

Thank you . Hopefully ,My 2B is low on the dead/stuck pixels, and the light bleed.

Don't forget that the DVI cable needs to be Dual Link
