View Full Version : Is there a hack to get 72hz/eye with 3D Vision 2...

I've been searching all over and have not found a solution. I have an Asus VG278HE, which allows for 144hz. I am planning to buy an NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 kit, but want to know if there will be a way to use that 144hz for 3D. I am aware that officially the answer is no, but I really want 72hz/eye and so I'm hoping there is a way to force 3D Vision to support this. I also know this is not really necessary for quality improvement, but I believe that 144hz is better for the human body and brain.

The only hardware that comes close is the HDFury IV, which does 720p at 144hz or 1080p at 72hz. Unfortunately, the Asus monitor only supports 144hz at 1080p, unless there is a hack for that too. Also the HDFury is too expensive.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
